Cygnus Business Media completes acquisition of AS3

Cygnus Business Media announced it has acquired AS3, the Aviation Services and Suppliers Super Show from The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA). Both associations will remain as sponsors and advisors to the event. The AS3 show acquisition follows the acquisition of GSE International Expo, the aviation industry's only event dedicated exclusively to ground support equipment, services and solutions that was acquired by Cygnus Business Media in October of 2001.

"Exhibitors within the aviation sector will see immediate benefits and increased opportunities as we include this significant show in our rapidly expanding aviation & transportation portfolio," says Cygnus Business Media President & CEO Paul Mackler. "In direct response to industry feedback, we will be co-locating AS3 with GSE International Expo in spring 2003, operating them as separate, but concurrent shows. This will increase attendance for both events providing a broader customer reach for our exhibitors and creating increased return on investment for our customers."
