Michael Ashton joined ABRY in 2008 from Eaton Vance Management, where he was a senior credit analyst and portfolio manager with the bank loan investment team. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, he held senior credit analyst positions with Fortis Investments and Hartford Investment Management, where he covered the broadcasting, cable television, telecommunications, and technology services sectors. Prior to moving into asset management, Michael held various senior roles with Barclays Capital and BankBoston. He received his MBA and BA from the University of Rhode Island.
