Frankfurt am Main, February, 27th, 2014 – Since January the second building of a total of four to be built at e-shelter’s datacenter Frankfurt 3 in Rüsselsheim is now under construction.
The new building, Building B, will be erected adjacent to the existing Building A allowing the use of the existing technical infrastructure of Building A. The new data hall, to be completed in the first quarter of 2015, will provide approximately 4,400 sqm of space and offer a power capacity of 90 MVA. In addition, the new building will also be directly linked to the Campus Frankfurt Datacenter Campus of e-shelter via a fiber glass connection enabling customers to mirror their data in a dual-site approach.
The first part of the data center building was already opened in November 2012. The approximately 4,400 sqm of data center space were completely let within one year.
